David Resnick, a New York personal injury attorney, began his law career working at large firms where the objective was to spend as little time as possible actually speaking to clients. He saw that clients deserved more time and attention, however, and an attorney who truly cared about their case. Armed with nothing more than a firm belief in client communication, he started his own practice in a tiny office in his apartment. His wife, a student at the time, helped out by answering phones in between classes.
Today, his dream of providing personal care to accident and injury victims has expanded into a successful practice in midtown Manhattan. As the firm has grown and additional attorneys have joined the team, David Resnick’s commitment has never changed. He values his clients and he believes in frequent communication to ensure the best results for every case. He handles firm inquiries directly and often visits clients in their homes.

Education and Honors
David Resnick brings an extensive background in the law to every case the law firm handles for New York City clients. A 1990 graduate of George Washington University, David Resnick attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, earning his Juris Doctor in 1995. He established his own law firm three years later.
In his three decades of legal experience in New York, David Resnick has built a reputation for providing outstanding client service and legal representation to people harmed through other parties’ actions. This reputation extends beyond the many individuals and families the firm has represented. He has also earned recognition from several local, statewide, and national professional organizations within the legal field. Among his honors are:

After earning his J.D., David Resnick was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1996 and began his career working at some of the area’s largest law firms. During his time with large firms, he recognized that clients often seemed to be getting less time and attention than he believed they needed and deserved.
Motivated by a desire to provide the level of legal support he believed was missing, David started his own firm in 1998. Since then, the firm has focused exclusively on personal injury cases, helping injured New Yorkers facing some of their lives’ most difficult times to move forward after devastating accidents.
David prioritizes strong, frequent communication to keep clients up to date on the progress of their cases. He responds directly to current and prospective clients’ questions and concerns about their cases and strives to make the legal process straightforward and hassle-free for people who are feeling overwhelmed by their situations, including meeting with them in the comfort of their own homes.
While David remains the face of the firm as its founding attorney, the firm has brought on two additional attorneys, Philip Monier and Gary Morgenstern, in an of counsel capacity to provide additional support to clients facing the aftermath of serious, accident-related injuries.
We also have a dedicated support staff on hand to work with our clients, including individuals and families who may need bilingual support. We’re pleased to serve New York speakers of both English and Spanish.
